The city of Boston, Mass is a recognized by many as one of the best places for singles in the whole of the US.
One of the biggest reasons is probably due to the fact that it has more than 40 colleges which means not only are there a huge amount of single guys and girls attending the colleges but the infrastructure which has built up catering for this mass of young people means even local Boston residents are able to benefit from the lively scene this produces.
There are numerous great bars and places to eat in and around Boston and this means you’ll never be stuck for somewhere to go and meet other singles.

- Caprice. Found on Tremont Street this bar has a great atmosphere and the bar tenders are really on point. The biggest bonus is this place has great buzz and gets packed with single guys and girls.
- Harvard Gardens. A bar which provides a causal relaxed atmosphere with a classy bar and restaurant. Popular for the after work drink or just to spend some time at the weekend. You’ll find this bar in Havard Gardens on Cambridge Street.
- The Living Room. As the name suggest this is a really chilled out relaxing venue which many people love as it seems so unpressured. Singles love to mingle here for drink or two and the popular outdoor patio makes a great location when the warmer weather is here. They on top of great atmosphere also have a stunning drinks menu. You’ll find this popular bar at 101 Atlantic Avenue in Boston.
- Whiskeys. Popular with the college crwod and vibrant young singles Whiskeys provides a good range of beers and also some great Bourbon for those who like a drop of the hard stuff. Not the place for a romantic meeting but great for a pick up. You’ll find this bar on Boylston Street, Boston.
- 973 Commonwealth. Located at the same address as the name this bar is popular with the after work crowd frequnted mainly by white collar workers early evening and becomes more popular as the night goes on. Its relaxed and they have a great range of drinks and even some really good finger food worth checking out.
- Match. Popular with singles as the design and atmosphere make it perfect for singles and meeting for drinks. It has a wide ranging drinks menu and is very spacious and with small cozy areas. For guys looking to meet women this is great location as the women seem to hang out here so expect more girls than guys. You want to tell your cab to drop you at Match at 94 Massachusetts Ave., Boston.
- Tia’s. Situated on the Boston waterfront there could not be a better place to hang out. The bar has large outdoor area and what could be more romantic than moonlight over the water. This bar does get very busy but it’s worth the time and has an amazing atmosphere. Just haed down to Tia’s at 200 Atlantic Avenue on the waterfront.
- The Estate. This is great venue in popular Boylston Place (number one) and it’s geared up for having a great night out. Few people visit this bar and don’t enjoy it it has everything you could want plenty of singles and makes a great meeting place to make new friends.
- Wonder Bar. Down on Harvard Avenue the Wonder Bar is a great venue you might think it’s a night club as they play music very night and that’s coupled with a some great drinks and cocktails. I was last in the Wonder bar a few weeks ago and had great time. You really want to check this one out for great music, great drinks and amazing night out.
- Lucky’s Lounge if you are looking to get Lucky well this could be the place it is certainly popular amoung the singles of Boston and when you visit you will know why. It’s got a really good feeling about the place the bar tenders are really slick and as I said you might get lucky. I know I have a few times ! You’ll find it at 355 Congress Street, Boston.
