Dating in Cleveland is full of potential if you are single girl or guy living in or around Cleveland you are poilt for choice of great places to go on date.
Those dating in Cleveland who have lived their a while will be familiar with many of great places but I was faced with more of challenge having come from out of State.
My first thought was to try one of the many and grwoing number of speed dating in Cleveland groups and to be honest this is great way to get meeting girls and or guys (in my case) quickly and in a safe environment.
Whilst I feel the online dating in Cleveland is much the same as it is in New York or any other city if you don’t know the city well it’s probably best to arrange to meet in public place rather than get a guy to pick you up or go and meet them on their own turf.
I always think a coffee shop is great for a first date as you can pretty quickly work out if their is any chemistry and then if you find that is going well move or to a bar or restaurant to see how things work out.
In Cleveland singles and those who have become divorced have a good choice of Coffee shops in most areas the Arabica Coffee Houses are spread across the different areas of the city but make sure you research online first.
If you decide to move on after coffee some good bars in Cleveland and its areas are Velvet Tango Room on Columbus Road, D’vine Wine Bar on W Saint Clair Ave, and the Winking Lizard Tavern on Huron Road of course there are dozens of bars so maybe ask friends or check on line for ideas.
If you are looking for a nice romantic resturant when dating in Cleveland you might want to check out the Flying Fig in Ohio City, or you could try the excellent Spanish food at the aptly named Mallorca which is on W 9th St.
Staying on the Mediterranean theme you can check out the beautiful Giovanni’s Ristorante which specializes in Northern Italian food on Chagrin Blvd. Or for a beautiful setting overlooking Lake Erie why not try Pier W on Lake Avenue.
But for pure Romance it hard to beat the Lock Keepers (previously Dante’s) on Rockside Rd.Valley View.
